COURSE DESCRIPTION
|
|
The course introduces the chemical
properties, technical and environmental impacts and
control methods of produced waters in petroleum and
natural gas fields. The chemical properties of the
produced water are emphasized to predict the potential
problems. The technical, environmental and economical
problems resulting from water production and control
methods are explained in detail. Down hole water
separation is introduced briefly.

treatment methods, (4) produced water control methods, (5)
down hole water separation.
